Two PhD positions are available for students in the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering.
Opportunities are broadly in the areas of multi-objective materials design accelerated with machine learning and automation for battery and electrocatalysis applications, and development of new autonomous computational chemistry tools for large-scale simulations. Other opportunities include screening of electrolyte materials for batteries with a combination of data-driven models and machine learning.
